In a time when instant digital communication has become the norm, the dominant form of record keeping in doctors’ offices is still pen and paper. It’s incredibly inefficient. Every year, thousands of medical tests are performed multiple times–needlessly–because one doctor can’t easily access another doctor’s paper records.
