Representative Doug Lamborn is the latest member of Colorado’s congressional delegation to hold a town hall meeting on health care. Lamborn represents arguably the most conservative house district in the state, and only a handful of supporters of Democrats’ ideas for overhauling the heath care system came to the event. In the U.S., refined sugar primarily comes from two crops – sugar beets and sugar cane. The domestic sugar beet industry brings in billions of dollars every year to the U.S. economy and is a vital part of Colorado agriculture.
