Hardly a week goes by in the national media these days without news about athletes and performance enhancing drugs. Floyd Landis’ allegations that Lance Armstrong has been doping for years made headlines for months before the Tour de France this summer. Most recently, Major League Baseball announced it will begin testing its Minor League athletes for human growth hormone, or H.G.H. To find out more about efforts to curb the use of performance enhancing drugs in sports, KRCC’s Noel Black recently visited the United States Anti-Doping Agency in Colorado Springs.
